Media registration is free for qualified individuals who are attending the conference in their capacity as journalists, videographers or community educators.
For those already registered to attend HIVR4P // Virtual:
Individuals and members of the media who have already registered for HIVR4P // Virtual, will be automatically registered for the IAS COVID-19 Conference: Prevention, at no additional cost.
To encourage the broadest participation possible in the conference, organizers are offering a two-tiered fee structure with lower registration fees for delegates from upper-middle income countries, lower-middle income countries and low-income countries (based on the World Bank Classification), and students/youth/post-docs.
The standard registration fee includes access to the special, one-day programming will include invited-speaker sessions and abstract presentations and more, exclusively dedicated to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please note that we cannot accept applications for media credentials from representatives of media outlets that are not directly involved in journalism.
Journalists, videographers and community educators who are either employees of or on assignment for a recognized print, radio, broadcast or online consumer, medical, community-based or AIDS/Global Health service organization-sponsored media outlet are eligible to apply for complimentary media registration.
Communications support professionals attached to a recognized HIV research, advocacy or policy organization, whose work is directly related to supporting media coverage of presentations at the conference are not considered media and must register as a regular delegate. Media accreditation for this category is not guaranteed, but is granted on a case-by-case basis.
